The Martin Lerman Gallery is a tribute to the life of an incredible man and artist. Long before photography and computer imaging became a mainstay in advertising, Martin Lerman and Ed Mirkin pioneered early newspaper and magazine fashion illustration. Marty and Ed were the owners and partners in their own company “Fashions Illustrated” for more than 50 years.

Art for Marty was like breathing, and a pen and brush were extensions of his hand since childhood. Marty encouraged everyone to either express themselves through art, or at the very least, appreciate art for how it enhances our daily experience.

This gallery will showcase established artists, as well as up- and-coming artists. Photographers, illustrators, painters of all mediums, sculptors, to artists of the digital arena will be showcased.

The Country Printer has had the good fortune of working with many talented artists over the years. This is our way of joining printing, artists and technology together with one goal in mind; to keep quality tangible images in front of people that care.

I have spent more than 30 years in the graphic arts business. My early years were spent in Manhattan working with some of the country’s best photographers and artists. Since 1993, I have spent my time growing The Country Printer. Now I am joining my two passions; Art & Technology.
